  • The National Society of Allotment and Leisure Gardeners
  • National Allotments Week organised by NSALG; this year, 2005, it will run from 8th-14th August
  • The Scottish Allotments and Gardens Society
  • The Allotment Regeneration Initiative - promotes and supports allotments; includes details of their grants and publications, and online resources for allotment societies.
  • A Plot-holders Guide from the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister - we have some interesting rights!   This link keeps moving - you may have to dig and delve to find it.
  • The Federation of City Farms and Community Gardens - interesting group, and a good listing of organisations and initiatives.
  • Ministry of Agriculture Allotment and Garden Guides, 1945 - 11 of the 12 guides published, now online as an e-book; fascinating!
  • The Allotment DVD - the 15 part TV series, first shown on ITV West, now available on 3 DVDs.
  • QED Allotments Group - a superb range of information on a site run by Dartford Allotments
  • QED Allotments Group - Virtual Potting Shed; lots of allotment sites
  • Leeds and District Gardeners' Federation - an association of allotment and leisure gardeners
  • Allotment plots 5 & 29 - John Harrison's diary of his plots; includes some very useful articles
  • Gledhow Valley Allotment Association, Chapel Allerton, Leeds; this was the site for the YTV allotment series!
  • Low Moor Allotments, York - fascinating site, great for browsing.   Includes their communal "Greenboard" (neat idea!).
