Feeling very guilty - the allotment looks desperately unkempt, and the slugs have had a ball.

May and early June - least said the better; good weather was taken up by work or "real life" issues --- and what was left was far too foul to spend time on the plot.

But the last two weekends I've spent getting aging knees to bend - to get ready for tomorrow morning.   Number 2 son and myself - we set off on bicycles for Edinburgh; members of one of the cycle teams involved in the Make Poverty History demonstration next weekend.   200+ miles in four days - we have to be daft.   And I thought the allotment kept me fit - hmmmmph!   (More info.)

And there will be an even more enormous backlog on the plot when we get back - tant pis! :)

If one of the cycle teams happens to be passing by you, get out and give them a cheer!
